Vox Sambou live / launches new video

Montreal, October 20^th 2010 – Inspired by his recent trip to Haïti, Vox Sambou launches his latest video during a night of performance at Bobards, on November 6^th 2010. Directed in the Dominican Republic by filmmaker Ariel Mota, Humano Universal  is featured on his upcoming second solo album Humano Universal  , scheduled for release in 2011.

The creolophone rapper, singer and member of super group Nomadic Massive, was born in Limbé, on the northern coast of Haïti.  In tune with the critically significant themes explored through his music; Humano Universal  is a plea for the respect of human rights. And it is accompanied by fellow members of Nomadic Massive  and Emrical that Vox Sambou guides us on a trip to the deepest roots of Haïti where resides the essence of the spirituality and traditions of Africa.

The drum is paramount and dance is a must. Soul singer Sarah Linhares will open the festivities with a live band as of 9 pm at Bobards, 4328 St-Laurent. Entrance is 7$.

Sarah is preparing to launch her debut full length album, Messages From The Future, in Spring 2011.
